The Science of Consciousness Conference 2025
Barcelona SPAIN - July 6-11, 2025
The prestigious Science of Consciousness Conference (TSCC 2025) will be held in Barcelona, Spain from July 6-11, 2025, followed by the Festival of Consciousness from July 11-13. This landmark event brings together leading researchers and theorists exploring the fundamental nature of consciousness, awareness, and reality.
Among the distinguished speakers are pioneering theorists Nassim Haramein and William Brown, who will present groundbreaking perspectives on consciousness and its relationship to physics and the structure of spacetime. Haramein, known for his innovative work on unified field theory and quantum gravity, will present in Plenary 10 on "Energy, Information and Consciousness in the Universe" alongside Rupert Sheldrake. His research suggests consciousness may emerge from complex interactions between electromagnetic and gravitational fields at the quantum scale.
William Brown, a biophysicist whose work spans molecular biology, genetics, and physics, will present in Plenary 8 on "Consciousness and Vibrations in Spacetime Geometry" alongside renowned researcher Anirban Bandyopadhyay. Brown's research focuses on elucidating foundational principles in biophysics and his presentation will explore the potential of totally novel mechanisms of memory in the biological system that may lead to the development of the ultimate quantum computer. His interdisciplinary approach bridges quantum physics, biology, and consciousness studies to illuminate how living systems may interface with fundamental information fields at the Planck scale.
The conference will feature fourteen plenary sessions covering diverse topics including quantum biology, psychedelics, artificial intelligence, end-of-life experiences, and extraterrestrial consciousness. Other notable speakers include Sir Roger Penrose, Philip Kurian, Deepak Chopra, and Dean Radin.
This gathering represents a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge theories and research on consciousness, particularly through the unified physics perspectives offered by Haramein and Brown. Their work suggests consciousness may arise from interactions between biological systems and underlying quantum vacuum fluctuations, potentially resolving long-standing questions about the relationship between mind and matter.
The conference will be held at the AC Hotel Barcelona Forum, with the Festival of Consciousness taking place at an adjacent venue. This combination of academic conference and public festival creates an unprecedented opportunity for both specialists and the general public to explore the frontiers of consciousness research.
